Rachel Bliss is a Licensed Master’s Social Worker in New York state. She is certified in Trauma Therapy and Grief Counseling. Rachel has gained experience in the field of mental health as a Psychiatric Technician at a Behavioral Inpatient Unit, a Social Skills Counselor for disabled adults, a Family Advocate for vulnerable families, a Safe House Worker for families escaping domestic violence situations, a Grief & Loss Counselor for a school district K-12, a Mental Health Therapist for a community clinic, a high-risk families Clinician, and a Licensed Therapist for Real Talk Therapy for clients across NY state.

Rachel has published 2 other works - a story in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Messages From Heaven And Other Miracles and her own book Unraveled Heart: A Grief and Loss Handbook for Those Supporting Elementary-Aged Youth.
